Baptist Health South Florida | Miami Cancer Institute

As part of a multidisciplinary team, Array was engaged to help realize the vision for Miami Cancer Institute: a world-class destination cancer center that would elevate cancer care in South Florida. We led the programming and interior design of the 80,000 SF fit-out, informed by extensive stakeholder engagement and lean planning processes. Our design approach supported the Institute’s goal of offering seamless, integrated outpatient services—including medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation therapy, infusion, imaging, and support spaces—in a cohesive, patient-centric environment.

Through immersive visioning sessions and process mapping, we helped clarify and align operational goals, improve patient flow, and reduce travel distances. The resulting design balances clinical efficiency with a hospitality-inspired environment that promotes healing, dignity, and ease of navigation. Subtle materials, calming palettes, and intuitive wayfinding work in concert with the building’s architecture to create a space of reassurance and hope.
