The Story

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital recognized the need to extend specialized pediatric services beyond the walls of its main campus. This project transformed a former retail space into a vibrant, family-focused outpatient care environment dedicated to pediatric sports medicine and rehabilitation. Working closely with the client team, Array planned and designed a layout that allows for seamless patient flow and clinical functionality within a compact footprint.

The adaptive reuse strategy enabled efficient delivery of care while minimizing the need for new construction—expanding access to therapy, imaging, and urgent care services in a high-visibility, high-traffic community location. The design integrates the Nicklaus brand into every touchpoint, ensuring consistency with the hospital’s broader network of care.
