The Story
Consolidating specialty services into a single, 11-story vertically stacked building allowed Montefiore to increase operational efficiency while improving patient experience and access to care. Array provided planning and design services to organize surgical, clinical, imaging, and support spaces across the tower, aligning each with the needs of the department it housed.
The facility includes operating and procedure suites, a full imaging department, and exam rooms for numerous specialties, from ENT and urology to cardiology and GI. The design supports high throughput while preserving a calm, patient-centered atmosphere. Public areas feature warm materials and large-scale graphics, including a striking 80-foot mural in the main lobby that brings a sense of calm through natural landscapes.
