As the interior design partner for the replacement of Mount Carmel’s west suburban hospital, Array collaborated with Gresham Smith to reimagine the patient experience across all service lines. Driven by the need for expanded capacity, modernized infrastructure, and a consistent brand identity, the project delivered a full-service inpatient hospital and medical office building that enhances community access and operational performance.
Array’s interior design team led visioning sessions with Mount Carmel’s leadership, physicians, and front-line staff to translate Trinity Health’s brand standards into welcoming, efficient, and flexible environments tailored to the local community. Hospitality-informed elements—including warm finishes, intuitive wayfinding, and flexible seating options—promote comfort while reflecting the Mount Carmel mission of healing.
