Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) | Care Network Flourtown

To increase capacity and visibility for its growing suburban patient base, CHOP replaced an outdated leased facility with a purpose-built primary care clinic in the same neighborhood. The new freestanding building provides a welcoming environment, better signage, and enhanced functionality.

The Story

CHOP engaged Array to design and fit out a new primary care facility in Flourtown, relocating from a constrained, poorly visible site less than a mile away. The previous location was tucked back into the medical complex with poor signage and no way to attract patients with street frontage.

By designing a ground-up 14,000 SF clinic with generous daylight, vibrant interiors, and more exam rooms, CHOP created the space needed to expand its care team and shorten patient wait times. The new building offers dedicated parking, strong street presence, and a colorful, kid-friendly environment that aligns with CHOP’s brand and patient experience standards.

Array has supported CHOP with multiple primary care upgrades throughout suburban Philadelphia.
