Anchor Health Properties | Penn Medicine Doylestown Health: Pavilion III
Doylestown Health partnered with Anchor Health Properties and Array to create a new outpatient pavilion that improves access, streamlines care, and brings surgical and rehabilitation services into a purpose-built setting.
Penn Medicine Doylestown Health, in collaboration with Anchor Health Properties, engaged Array Architects to design a new outpatient facility on its hospital campus. The goal was to relocate rehabilitation and surgical services from the main hospital to a dedicated site, enabling both an increase in inpatient surgical capacity and the growth of rehabilitation offerings. This strategy also allowed for future renovations within the main facility.
As a defining front door to the evolving campus, the Pavilion improves accessibility, increases parking capacity for rehab and surgery patients, and provides a centralized and intuitive point of entry. Natural daylight, clear circulation, and a glass-enclosed stair encourage movement throughout the building, while a central conference suite supports community and staff engagement.
